Customer Complaint
I am writing to enlighten a customer complaint having a Lot. No. 0507232119C02. There is problem in Outer
Diameter of the pipes of 25mmPN20. The diameter of that particular pipes is 24.8mm. The Standard
Diameter ranges from 25.0mm to 25.5mm.

We have checked the inspection report for that lot number and It is found that Mr. Muhammad Imran was
working as Quality Inspector in that shift. We concluded that Quality Inspector filled the bogus entries in the
Inspection sheet.

Corrective Action: To ensure the quality of rest of our stock, we checked randomly 91 out of 2300bundles
and there is not a single pipe with the diameter less than 25.5mm.

Preventive Measure: To avoid such type of complaints we will work on following parameters.

 Quality Inspector will collect 01 length per hour from every machine. The collected lengths will be
checked by Senior Officer- Production and a report will be generated.
 Machine Operator will also check the quality parameters on hourly basis and will generate his
separate Quality Inspection Report.
 First Inspection Report will be made in case of change in size.

Reactive Action: On the behalf of this customer complaint I recommend that we should warn Mr.
Muhammad Imran through a Formal Warning Notice for his negligence.
