Introduction
The irrigation department deals with various construction projects in the state. This
project entitled “Cost analysis and tendering of irrigation department” is a web based
application for automating the cost estimation and tendering of different construction
works in irrigation department. The irrigation department announces new construction
project plan and estimate cost through the web. Only the registered contractors can
quote tender for a particular project. The new project details will be posted on the
notice board then the public also can view [Link] also the public get opportunity to
register [Link] the verification of complaint take the location for study and
take one or more plan. The public can provide vote for this plans through sms, email
voting. After rating of public votes, they will take final decision to reconstruct the
location.
Existing system
The irrigation department undertake various construction projects but it is consumes
more time and efforts. Inviting tenders are done through manually .approval of such
tenders require huge paperwork and efforts. sometimes it leads to monopoly.

Proposed system
“Cost analysis and tendering of irrigation department” is a web based application for
automating the cost estimation and tendering of different construction works in
