The purpose of the project is to create an imitation Facebook (Mathbook) of a Famous Mathematician.
You will have to complete the research and construction of the page at home. Use this sheet to
complete your research before you begin constructing the page and finding pictures. You may use the
Facebook Template attached. You have the option of typing this on the computer or completing this by
hand. Make sure you project is NEAT and COMPLETED and TURNED IN on time!!

If you are using the computer to complete your project make sure you print it out or email the file
to [Link]@[Link] with your name in the subject line.

What do I have to do for this project?


You will create a FAKE Facebook page for a historical figure using the following guidelines:

 Name of famous mathematician at the top of the page


 A Profile Picture of your mathematician (you may choose to draw or use picture from internet)

Information Corner/Basic Information (minimum of 5)

 Relationship Status
 Political Affiliation
 Religion

Family/Friends Corner (required)


 Minimum of 5 pictures of family members or people that are/would be friends with your figure

The Wall (required)


 Write 6 significant facts on The Wall . These facts need to highlight important events that your
mathematician is famous for. Please relate the facts to math  Each comment must be about a
separate event and include the date. The comment can be from your figure or from someone
associated with your figure.

 Email Address (we know MOST OF THEM did not have internet, so be creative)
 Current Address (if they are dead – where are they currently living aka buried)
