War Correspondent, about and for people – thoughts
It is truly difficult or even impossible to answer the question why the war exists.
Throughout the war, both sides claim that they are fighting against the evil. The war is seen as
with a limited experience and it weaknesses not only the human bodies but also the whole
emotional universe of the soldiers. The war correspondent’s attitude should be objective and
not to be on someone’s side, he neither has to condemn the soldiers nor to promote the
pacifism. He should express himself clearly and understandable for those who are receiving
the news. However, it is a frequent way throughout the history to be found in the literature
and art through which man could show the greatness of the war, hoping that he would better
learn from the past mistakes. Nowadays, there is this endless eager to have exclusive
information that the mass media wouldn’t send their reporters on the field in order not to
spend too much. The war correspondent’s news is those of a man, about people and fro
people, with a human attitude, and his principles are difficult to stand on. The journalist needs
ethic, principles, and those things which are learnt from an editorial office.
I definitely think anyone could be a reporter, but not anyone could be a journalist.
