WAP is looking for talented software engineering professionals to accelerate our product
development. The candidate is expected to join our office in Singapore and in very diverse
engineering team, and contribute in developing our flagship product.
As a software engineer, we expect you to exercise your software development skills and contribute
to the team by offering creativity and energy.
Working Location WORKS APPLICATIONS SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.
Working time Flexible ex: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (1hr lunch break)
Payment 5,500,000- 6,000,000 JPY
Language Skills Business level English (Japanese not required)
Major Computer Science / Candidates with programming background
Requirements Development experience in Java or C++ (Java is preferable)
Perform software engineering tasks on assigned system(s) to expand business coverage of our product and
raise customer satisfaction.
Tasks include;
• Work on functional design, architecture design, and development of new features or sub-systems in our
ERP system, "COMPANY"
• Develop software patches and new features under the supervision of a senior member in the team
• Detect, isolate, and resolve problems encountered by our customers during implementation of or operating
business through our software
• Act as liaison and coordinate engineering work with engineers locating in Tokyo / Shanghai / Chennai
(India)
• Research on new software technologies, especially in areas of open source technologies, cloud computing,
java programming, AI, and large-scale software development
• Involved in quality assurance processes of assigned product
Experience in developing business applications
