SUBJECT : New FW Release 1) Noise comes out when DD+, DTS-HD High
Resolution audio is input

Symptom:
When 192kHz 2ch PCM, DD+(Dolby Digital Plus) or DTS-HD HR(DTS-HD HighResolution)
audio is input,
noise sometimes comes out.
This is found more easily when track up/down or chapter research is done.
Cause:
After Audio Master Clock Citrcuit is reset, I2S sometimes outputs Rch and Lch incoherently.
In this case, DD+ and DTS-HD HR cannot be decoded and will be detected as PCM, which causes
noise.

Procedure for service:
When any HD audio-related problems are reported and/or in order to add Picture Quality Adjustment
function,
check the version of FW and upgrade the unit to the following Main versions or newer.

DTR-5.8: Main1.03/07X01A
TX-SR705/TX-SA705/DTR-6.8: Main1.04/07X02A
TX-SR805/TX-SA805/DTR-7.8: 8 1.06/07925A

For the program files and other questions etc., contact Technical Support of Onkyo Corporation.
When a new Main FW is loaded, check to see if DD+ audio can be played with no problem.
This has not been actually found, but in theory, sound interruption might happen depending on the
quality variation of components.

If it is found, remove a capacitor on Digital Board (See attached) at the same time.
