The Warsaw Philharmonic has announced auditions for an orchestral percussionist position. The first round will be on June 17th and the second round on June 18th. Candidates must submit their application and bio by June 1st and have orchestral percussion experience. Those selected will receive invitations with details. Candidates will play excerpts on their own small instruments and a piece with accompaniment in the second round after rehearsing it. The auditions will include snare drum, timpani, xylophone, and other percussion pieces.

Warsaw Philharmonic announces AUDITIONS for the post of

ORCHESTRAL MUSICIAN – PERCUSSION (FULL-TIME)

Auditions have been scheduled for: 17th June 2020 2PM – 1st stage
and 18th June 2020 2PM – 2nd stage

Persons interested in the auditions ought to submit their applications and artistic
bios to: The Warsaw Philharmonic Office, room 109, or by post to the following
address: ul. Jasna 5, 00-950 Warszawa, Poland, by fax at (+48) 22 55 17 200, or
by email to sekretariat@[Link], not later than by 1st June 2020.

Orchestral experience (percussion) is obligatory. The Philharmonic reserves the


right to select the candidates who will be invited to the auditions. Candidates
qualified for the auditions will receive individual invitations including details. The
Philharmonic provides an accompanist. Candidates can play on their
own small instruments (triangle, tamburino, piatti, castagnetts).

ATTENTION:

Candidates who get to the second stage of the auditions will be asked to prepare
a fragment of the piece with accompaniment. The notes of this piece will be
distributed two hours before the beginning of the second stage of auditions. Each
candidate is entitled to a ten-minute rehearsal with an accompanist.

The scores of all pieces will be available at a later date.
