TIPS FOR PROJECT REPORT

To search the required data for the project, one way is to search a particular which is suffered by cyber
security breach and then visiting company’s website or some other website having such data.

Here is another way of finding the relevant information.

1. Visit my folder in Elibrary. In your subject, you will find an excel file named, “Privacy Rights
Clearing House”. In this excel file, you will be able to find out details of 5000 such companies
who have been suffered from security breaches in last 10 years.

2. As far as required financial data is concerned, you are supposed to visit the link,
[Link]

3. From the company shortlisted in (1) above, enter the company name in the search link
appearing in (2) above.

4. You will be able to see various data related to your company or some other list of companies
having names resembling with your company name. So, make sure that the company you have
find is exactly the same as it was in (1) above.

5. In the respective page, you will find various data or documents which have been uploaded by
the company. Our requirement is for quarterly financial data, so we will look for INTERACTIVE
DATA having 10-Q.

6. In this way, you can search respective financial statements for those companines over a long
range of time. (Point number 2-6 are also explained by the following link:

7. Then you need to find out that the company you traced above is indexed in NASDAQ or NYSE.
For this, respective excel files are also uploaded in my folder. Do find out the company in that
list and especially trace the code used to represent that company in NASDAQ or NYSE.
