Automated Online EB Billing System

Monthly EB Bill Display with Bill SMS using GSM and Online

Current method for EB Billing system is very outdated, tedious and time-

consuming process. To improve this method, an alternative method that automates

this tedious process can be implemented. This innovative project interfaces

electricity energy meter with Arduino using the Pulse LED of electricity energy

meter. This project continuously monitors and updates the online portal every 2

weeks. This project also sends an SMS to all the users of their EB Bill every 2

months. This method can reduce the time and manpower consumed by the

traditional way. This project uses Arduino board to monitor the energy used as a

Graph in any one of the Online Cloud Software. This project also sends an SMS to

the consumers every billing month using the GSM Technology. Also, this project

displays the In-Line voltage live using the LCD Display. This project automates

the traditional method of electricity bill generation. This project fulfills the SDG

Goal – Responsible Consumption and Production and Sustainable Cities and

Communities.
