1. Images.
a. Use CMYK images with resolution of 300 dpi.
b. Download correct ICC-profile from [Link]/icc.

c. Set up Color Management of Adobe Photoshop with correct ICC.


d. Convert RGB images to CMYK using ICC-profile of Kroonpress
2. Colours.
a. Use CMYK colours for lines, text and backgrounds.
3. Print PostScript file.
a. Produce postscript-files from layout with Adobe PS printer drivers.
b. Enlarge your printer page size with bleed sizes.

c. Do not add any crops, marks and colour information to postscript file. FOR LARGE BLACK USE
4. Generate PDF file. 4-COLOUR RICH-BLACK
a. Download Distiller joboption file from [Link].
b. Tune Acrobat Distiller with correct *.joboptions file. C-40: M-30: Y-00: K-100
c. Generate PDF-file with Distiller from your postscript-files.
5. Pre-flight PDF file.
a. Download pre-flight profile from [Link]
b. Tune Pre-Flight Panel with correct profile.
c. Check PDF files and ensure that pre-flight Raport has no errors.
6. Upload PDF files.
a. Ask sales manager for FTP address and account name. BODY TEXT SHOULD CONSIST OF NOT MORE
b. Upload correct PDF files to Kroonpress FTP server. THAN 2 COLOURS (here 80% C + 60% K)
7. Softproof imposition.
a. Kroonpress generates PDF files of 200 dpi from plate-ready imposition.
b. Download softproof PDF files from Kroonpress FTP server.
c. Check (or print them out) and approve signatures.
