SOP Post Concreting Inspection

RC Structural Elements Casted

Conduct Inspection:
 Conducted by QA/QC base on standard criteria to ensure quality of RC structure,
compliance of specification and work procedure.
 Witness by representative engineer (COW/RE)

Inspection criteria:
 Dimension:
i. As per specified in drawing
ii. Squareness
iii. Dimension for opening services
 Alignments, plumb and levelness:
i. Verticality with 10mm tolerance
ii. RC wall alignment with 6mm tolerance
iii. Flatness surface
 Exposed surface condition (Observation):
i. Honeycomb, crack-line, bulging or wavy
ii. Cold joint surface
iii. Free from piece of formwork, nails, etc after removing formwork
 Position of embedment
i. Starter bar position for column, beam, wall, etc
 Any wall tie holes to be filled using approved grout materials and method.
 Method of curing as per specified
