Record Screen with QuickTime on Mac

To record your Mac screen using QuickTime player, open QuickTime player and select File > New Screen Recording. This will prompt you to select the portions of the screen to record. Click the record button to begin recording all screen activity and audio. When finished, stop the recording and save the file. You can then optionally trim or export the video.

Screen recording on Mac

1- Open QuickTime player (it’s already installed on mac machines)

2- Click on File, new screen recording.

This dialog appears:


4- Click on the red button in the middle. After you click it, this dialog
appears:

5- Click it and it will start recording. You can open full screen on
PowerPoint and use the pen tool to draw or write. (click on pen and
choose pen, or click on command +p)

6- When you’re done, you can stop the recording using the stop button in
the top bar.
7- After you press on stop, the video appears, and you can save it.
Optionally you can trim it to remove some unwanted parts at the beginning
or end, using the Edit-> trim option.

8- If the video size is big, you can export it to 480P using export option.
