Augmented Railgun Launch Process Analysis

1) The document describes a simulation and experiment of a planar series augmented electromagnetic railgun under nonideal conditions. Key factors like friction, air resistance, and heat generation were considered. 2) The launching process was divided into sections - initially the armature is static due to friction, then it accelerates once Lorentz force exceeds resistance. Friction is reduced by melting at the contact surface. 3) Results show muzzle velocity depends on factors like armature size, surface smoothness, and precision. The experiment matched theoretical analysis and simulation preferences.
