This document describes a Direct On-Line (DOL) control circuit. The circuit uses a pushbutton make switch to control a relay which then controls an indicator light and break switch. When the pushbutton is pressed, it closes the make contact to energize the relay coil which then closes its contacts to turn on the indicator light and close the break switch.
