As shown in Table 3, the respondents were generally “undecided” with their conative
domain which covers what the respondents do about the subject. They felt “undecided” on
checking out or borrowing books from the library (3.10), going to the book store and purchase
books (3.23), reading books and other materials during free time (3.42), reading books and other
reading materials even when they are not required to (3.42), bringing a book or a reading
material with them wherever they go (3.02), reading books for their class in advance (3.02)
However they have felt only “agree” on two of its specific attributes according to its respective
mean ratings: They read when they are asked to read in school (3.67) and they collect or keep
books or other reading materials that they like (3.63)
