It is true that the advertising industry has increased by leaps and bound, It has

spread its feet on social, digitial, electronics


and many more other [Link] has become a point of debate among people due to
its merits and demerits. I will discuss the both
and also share my opinion in following paragraphs.

On the one hand, Advertising is a key part of today's modern bussiness as companies
need to tell customers about their products.
Advertisements inform us about the choices we have and helps customers to make
right decision before buying any product.
Adverts is a kind of modern art which provides employment to many people. Its a
kind of creative industry which employs actress,
actor,,models, cheographer and many more. For instance, as per one of the leading
newspaper in 2018 advertisment industry was estimated at 2Billion dollars which
emplys around 2 lakh people in India alone.

On the other Hand, Advertising industry manipulates people by persuading them that
buying this product will make them happier.
Advertisers use glamorous and successful people to promote their products which in
turn helps them in building and selling their
brand image. Moreover nowadays, we are now living in a consumer culture which
persuades us to follow the lastest trends as
endorsed and shown by our model icons in advertisements on Televisions, Social
accounts and newspapers. We are also encouraged to associate certain brands with a
higher status. For Example, Advertisers often aim their marketing at children as
they can be easily influenced by advertisements. Children put pressure on their
parents to buy them things as advertised by their superstars.

In my Opinion, Advertising should be regulated through government

at children and should be controlled or even [Link] foods should not be
marketed in such a way that they will attract
[Link] that can be a risk to health must have a warning and should be
easily visible on product wrappers.
For Instance, In some countries it is illigal to advertise cigarettes and alchol on
[Link], Advertising is necessary in free market [Link] creates
demands for products and generates employment for thousands of people.

In conclusion, Government should take some important measures to regulate and


censor the false information or products that are harmful then we can esaily
overcome of its negative impacts and it will be far more useful for everyone.
