C. Materials: Laptop, PowerPoint Presentation.

III. Procedure

1. Activity
a. The teacher will let the students share to the class the common stitches they
use in their house.
b. The lesson will be discussed by the teacher with use of PowerPoint
presentation.
2. Analysis
a. Among all the stitches, which is used commonly in fixing clothes and dresses?
b. Which of the stitches used to strengthen seams by the use of hand stitches?
c. Which stitch is used to hold the cloth or textile temporarily?

3. Abstraction
a. Why is it important to learn basic hand stitches?
b. Why do you think there are different kinds of stitches?
4. Application
Basic stitches
In a 5x5 inches of cloth, perform different kind of stitches.
