Aim
To familiarize the students with principle of operations and V-I characteristics of
various electronic devices like PN junction diode, FET, BJT, MOSFET [Link] study
about analog ICs – IC 555, IC Regulators, A/D and D/A converters.
Objective
On completion of this course, the student will understand:
Semi conductor physics and PN junction applications of diode, BJT and MOSFET etc.,
based on characteristics.
To understand the function of various special devices SCR, DIAC, IGBT, TRIAC, UJT
and applications of these devices.
To study the function of various analog ICs and their applications
