INTRODUCTION
Technology has been an integral part of our world for a long time now especially
in today’s generation. There are different types of technology that people learned to
engage themselves with in every aspect of their lives; may it be for entertainment,
communication, job and education. It is continuously developing and upgrading with
different level of features which made its existence impossible to overlook as time
passes by.
The use of technology in terms of education is now being standardized that
encourages teachers to change their traditional way of teaching and adapt its modern
way. It helps them improve their strategies in teaching and furnish their creativity when it
comes to making better presentations that are catchier for the students.
This study discuss about the students’ perception on teachers who are using
technology in teaching. To know the efficiency of technology in teachers who have
experienced and understand the importance of this in their way teaching. This topic can
develop different forms of communication and leadership skills, and improving
motivation.
The purpose of this research is to know the advantages of technology in
teaching. Both teachers and students can develop skills and essential for the 21st
century. Student can gain the skills they will need to be successful in the future
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM
This research intends to identify “Perceptions of the Students on Teachers in Using
Technology for Teaching”. It seeks to answer the following questions:
1. Are there any significant relationship between the learners’ preferences and teaching
strategies?
2. Are using different technologies in teaching more efficient to the students?
3. Can technologies produce better learning experiences? Can technologies increase
the students’ motivation in learning?
4. Are there any disadvantages that technologies hold? What are these?

This research will show the students if using technology is efficient when it
comes to producing better learning experiences, help them focus more on their studies
and will make them know if it increases their motivation in school.
To the Teachers
This research will help the teachers know if teaching using a technology
improves their creativity in teaching.
To the Future Researchers
This research will help the future researchers know about the effectiveness of
technology in teaching if ever what they are researching is related to this study, or if it
becomes their research.
SCOPE AND DELIMITATION
This study includes only the Perceptions of the Students on Teachers in Using
Technology for Teaching. The scope area of the study is in Taguig National High School
with its students as their correspondents within the school year 2019-2020.
DEFINITION OF TERMS
Technology – the branch of knowledge that deals with the creation and use of technical
means and their interrelation with life, society, and the environment, drawing upon such
subjects as industrial arts, engineering, applied science, and pure science.
Perception – the act or faculty of perceiving, or apprehending by means of the senses
or of the mind; cognition; understanding.
Education – the act or process of imparting or acquiring general knowledge, developing
the powers of reasoning and judgment, and generally of preparing oneself or others
intellectually for mature life.
Efficiency - the state or quality of being efficient, or able to accomplish something with
the least waste of time and effort; competency in performance.
