IV. Rationale: This project will be use full for technical accumulation and transfer technology and also try to
practice wood working joint.
V. Project Description: this project is contemporary coffee table. This project has efficiency of assembling
wood work joint and quality finishing output of project is strictly observed. The output must be in accordance to correct
design specification and standards. This is to support the goal in producing quality products that can compete in the
local and global market.
VI. Project Objectives:- At the end of the project trainees will be able to
Identify the types of joints
Carry out bench work activities according to the given requirements & job.
Select tools & equipment’s according to the job.
Use and operate wood working tools according to working drawing.
Observing safety precautions according to working drawing.
Perform wood joints according to working drawing.
Identify the types jigs & fixtures
Develop operational plan and prepare cutting list
Perform jigs & fixtures according to working drawing.

Carry out bench work activities according to the given requirements & job.
