Summer Vacation Homework Guidelines

Dear Parent’s
Happiness is in the air long awaited summer holidays are you with their warm showers.
“Time is God’s grace and God has given all of us this precious gift to utilize to the fullest for ourselves and for his glory”
So why not begin now? Nothing better than the free time of the summer vacation to better ourselves and grow,
becoming spiritually, physically and intellectually strong. Life needs to be balanced between fun and work. Summer
holidays give a chance for children to relax. During holidays leisure replaces work as a priority. Besides relaxing, the
parents should keep in mind the execution of the assigned work in a well-planned manner to their child. Motivate your
wards to interact with knowledgeable stuffs that would in turn lead their minds to grow exclusively.

Wishing to see your child after summer break with “Broader Outlook” and “Positive Attitude”. Wish you
fruitful and refreshing holidays. Make every moment enriching by learning something new. Search for
opportunities to grow as better human beings and utilize the opportunities to become efficient and useful
Persons.

 Do comprehension Activity 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 on the Activity Book.
 Make a project on “Tenses” using your creativity.
 Learn: - Formation of Adjectives and Collective nouns there will be tested after vacations.
 HINDI :-
 ‘की’ ,‘कक’ का अंतर स्पष्ट करते हुए 10- 10वाक्य लिखें |
ककसी एक ववषय पर A4 Sheet पर आकषषक ववज्ञापन बनाएँ :- घडी, स्कूि बैग, सतरं गी छाता |

 MATHEMATICS:-
 Revise chapters done in the class and do written practice.
 Record temperature of 10 days Find mean, median and mode represent on A4 size ivory sheet as
an activity. Do in creative manner.
 SCIENCE:-
 Make a report on global warming in your city. Collect the pictures of your city which shows effect of
pollution in your city. Make it in a scrapbook.
 Explore insectivorous Plants. Watch the Discovery Channel or navigate websites to see videos of a
P itcherplant or a Venus flytrap catching their prey.
On the same Scrapbook write down your observations. Collect and paste pictures of the plants
Explored in your scrapbook.
 SOCIAL SCIENCE:-
 Collect rarest of the questions from your SST Book.
 At least 5 - 7 questions each from History, geography and civics.
 Make a Quiz Booklet with Proper decorated cover. (Hard Bound)
 Write the answers of the questions asked at the back two pages of the booklet in an upside down
manner.
 You may draw things as per questions asked on each page to make your booklet more interesting.
 COMPUTER:-
 [Link] 1 to 15:- Draw the MS. Word window and label it.
 [Link] 16-30:- Draw and label MS. Excel window and label its components.
 [Link] 31 onwards: - Explain the formulas and functions of MS. Excel on a chart.
(Holidays Homework should be done on a chart)
