INTRODUCTION
The project entitled “Matrimonial Web Portal” is a web based application
developed using Java Enterprise Edition. The Matrimonial site or marriage website
is online platform that works as marriage broker. The matrimonial website is an
online platform that help people to find life partner by their choice.
This website provide feature for both grooms and brides to find their matching life
partner. This online matrimonial site is mainly developed to let individual find their
potential matches for marriage according to their priorities set. This project allows
the phrase ‘Marriages are made in heaven’ to be rephrased as ‘Marriages are now
made online’. This application allows to browse profiles of those who have
registered themselves on this site. This allows individual to give their information
such as Name, Gender, Religion, Caste, Marital status, Current salary, Occupation
etc.
This application also allows to upload photo of the individual registering. The person
looking for marriage can register and search for a profile that matches their
requirement. This application allows individual to search by gender, age, religion,
caste, marital status.
The main advantage of this application is that it makes the search easy for those who
are interested for marriage. It allows individual to set priorities and thus helps to
view profiles according to their priorities set. This avoids the overhead of meeting
face to face just to know about the basic information, which now the user can view
online.
ABSTRACT
In this fast era all are familiar with matrimonial website concept. It is very hard to
physically find life partner as per our choice or like even it is impossible now. For
getting best life partner as per our need we have to contact marriage broker to find
life partner. A matrimonial site helps to both groom and bride to find their life
partner as per their criteria and choice without contact broker. This project allows
the phrase ‘Marriages are made in heaven’ to be rephrased as ‘Marriages are now
made online’.
At time of registration we need to fill up our all detail along with life partner detail,
so the matrimonial site can automatically filter and find matches as per your life
partner detail and give you best matches result. You can also use search facility
which helps groom and bride to get best partner to make matrimonial easier.
After becoming a member of this site you can get alert for best match for your
profile and also can send/receive messages, get contact detail and make online chat
with other members. We also provide advance search facility for our members.
