Characters
Pandora - Pandora is the first woman, given as a punishment to mankind.
Epimetheus - Epimetheus the titan was brother to Prometheus and husband to Pandora, the first
woman.
Prometheus - A good titan who gave mankind fire.
Hephaestus - The god of the forge and tool-work, he is the god who created Pandora.
Zeus - The god of the sky in Greek Mythology, he plays the part of a vengeful deity.
Athena - She is goddess of wisdom and war.
Aphrodite - Goddess of Love, Beauty & Eternal Youth
Hermes - God of Trade, Eloquence and Messenger of the Gods
Script
Scene 1
Narrator: Olympians ruled the heavens, Zeus the King of Gods gave the duty of creating man to
the Titans Prometheus and Epimetheus
Scene 2
Epimetheus: Prometheus, I give all these skills to the animals and I have other skills, but there is
one animal that has no skills to be given.
Prometheus: Well, I will give men the features of the Gods and the ability to rule the earth, sky,
and sea. I will also give men the ability to think and be able to do higher level activities, such as
building a fire.
Narrator: Epimetheus didn't know that his brother saw a spark from heaven and do so furious
with Prometheus.
Zeus: I will tie Prometheus to a large rock while the sun will fortune by day and the frost will
torture him by night and an eagle will tear him, eat his liver, and through the night he woke you
and the eagle will come back again.
Narrator: Prometheus suffered everyday and Zeus still wanted to unleash his revenge on it.
Scene 3
Narrator: Zeus the King of the Gods ordered his son Hephaestus to build a woman out of gold.
Zeus: Hephaestus, build me a woman out of gold.
Hephaestus: Oh my father! I'll make a woman out of gold and I'll name her Pandora.
Scene 4
Narrator: After Hephaestus made a woman out of gold, he immediately presented her to the
Olympians. Many Gods and Goddesses presented her with some special gifts.
Athena: I Athena provide you the gift of wisdom.
Aphrodite: I Aphrodite will give you beautiful hair.
Hermes: I Hermes will give you cunning, bolness, and charm.
Narrator: Zues gave her the most important gift of all.
Zeus: Pandora you must take this box to earth andnever open it.
Narrator: Due to her mischief and and curiosity Pandora had the urge to open Zues present.
Pandora: I have to open this box.
Scene 5
Narrator: She was sent down to Earth and there she meets Epimetheus. Pandora fell in love with
Ephimetheus
Scene 6
Narrator: One day her curiosity got the best of her so she opened the box.
Pandora: Oh no! Here come greed, evil, sadness, and selfishness.
Scene 7
Narrator: Zeus also gave the gift of hope to prevent them from killing themselves over despair.
Due to Pandora's curiosity, Zeus had unleashed in revenge on the act of Prometheus and mankind
had to pay the price.
