Reflective statement 2000 words

Introduction:

In the following article I would like to reflect my work based learning and practice based
learning based upon the consultancy project undertaken by me for the purpose of enhancement
in my career, increase the job prospects and learn the needs of the industry. Thus this must help
me in learning the practical methods and real life needs, increase the business knowledge and
help me in understanding all the management principles in order to become a leader in future.

The major skill needed for a consultant is to create a strong network of people from different
areas with different skillset and expertise who should be grouped together in a strong leadership
to get success in the consultation work. (Basson, et al., 2004)
Hence this gave me higher degree of confidence, courage and motivation to perform a
consultancy work as my final year submissions bye passing the usual project work which has
no practical work based learning possible in it.

Many consider only intellectual skills and intelligence are the major factors triggering the
leader but on reflection in my perspective the role of the emotional intelligence is higher as one
who doesn’t have a balanced emotional cheater or one who doesn’t no to handle his emotions
properly will fail to manage their team members effectively and thus the entire project
management will be a disaster. (Latham, 1994)

Thus it is essential to focus on the process of effective management of the team member’s to
gain the best out of them. (Rupp, et al., 2003)

Conclusion:

Thus this work clearly reflects all the skills needed for my future career and I have reflected
everything with respect to the courses attended, the internship taken and every modules read in
the curse. I have reflected the way they have positively moulded me to emerge as an
entrepreneur working on a new business with the intention of launching an application in the
play store for the management purpose. Thus this is the first step in my career as a business
developer and a leader who will wish to take my business to the next level in future.
