focused on dredging works in the Middle East and
surrounding areas.
• DEWA is a client of Gulf Cobla.
• Major projects include Maldives airport expansion, Maldives
airport to create seaplane runways, dredging and reclamation
for the Asian beach games in Oman.

PROJECT: (Report on improving CSD production)

• Tasked with researching about milling and dredging,


numerous similarities were found between the two
processes.
• These similarities were exploited in order to derive an
empirical relationship and thus transfer milling knowledge to
improve dredging production.
LEARNING OUTCOMES / INFERENCES
• This period of industry training helped
improve my research skills and gave me new
knowledge about marine engineering.
