I. RATIONALE

Malnutrition continues to afflict the majority of the FILIPINO children. This can
be attributed to poverty, food shortage, poor sanitation and occurrence of
natural calamities. On top of giving each child the right nutrition, the most
common way to prevent the increasing rate of malnutrition is to scale-up
effective and evidence-based interventions, one of which is PABASA sa
Nutrisyon.

II. OBJECTIVES

 To adopt and implement the strategy for the early detection of growth
changes and provision of immediate corrective actions that will eventually
make them productive adults in society.

III. METHODOLOGY

 Lecture, discussion and workshop

 Pregnant and lactating women
