INTERVIEWER: UJJAWAL BHARWAJ INTERVIEWEE: ALOK KUMAR

1. According to you, what is stress?


Ans) According to the client stress in some kind of pressure that is faced by an individual in
his daily life. He also told that stress in small amount is necessary because it help us to be
punctual.

2. Describe a stressful situation and how you handled it?


Ans) He shared his latest experience in which he was stressed. One day he was going for a
money transaction. He used the BDO ATM for that, but ATM showed no cash and that
amount got subtracted from his account.

3. Are you able to adapt to change in the academics? Can you tell me about a specific
situation?
Ans) Client told that he takes time to adapt change in the academics and because of that he is
not able to well in his first quiz but he also told that the marks that got him in that quiz helps
him to adapt change and act like a motivator.

4. Can you describe a time when you were juggling multiple projects at once?
Ans) Juggling with multiple projects is quiet normal for the client as he face this in his daily
life. He told that most of the days are like having 2-3 assignment and sometimes also having
quiz like a bonus to stress.

5. Have you ever missed a deadline? If so, what did you do?
Ans) According to the client he has tried never to miss a deadline. If he is close to the
deadline and the assignment is not completed he will miss his sleep, meal and sometimes bath
also but complete it on time. But there were some of the cases when he missed a deadline
because he was sick.

6. How have you handled stress when you were behind on assignment? Would you tell some
of the actions to cope up with it ?
Ans) Client always tries to complete his assignments on time but somehow if he is behind in
assignment as compare to other members of his class in daytime he usually skip meals and
during night time he work till late night.

7. Is stress ever a good thing? If so, how?


Ans) According to him little amount of stress is good because it made him punctual and helps
to maintain discipline in his life. He also told that a world without stress is like a world
without vehicle because it helps to accelerate our dream so that we can accomplish it as fast
as possible. But no one should take lot of stress because it can cause certain decease and also
make him depressed.

8. Tell me about the time when you needed to take on an additional academic workload for a
classmate. What did you do?

Ans) There are some of the situations when my classmates want help from him and he is not
able to say no to his classmates so he helps them with full responsibility even if can’t be able
to take sleep whole night.

9. What do you do when you get burnt out at academics?


Ans) Client use to watch movies, online series, play games and explore some new places
here. He also told there he needs a vacation after exams because he got frustrated like
now-a-days after midterms.

10. How do you deal with pressure or stressful situations? Does it ever impact your student
life balance?
Ans) Stress not really put some serious impact on his life, but sometime he got frustrated
because of some serious workload.

11. Tell me about the time when your work was criticized by a professor. How did you react?
Ans) The client is not good at writing fictional stories. He was being assigned a task to write
the same. He tried to complete the given work with all the effort. The next day during his
presentation in front of the class the teacher stopped it in middle by scolding in front of the
whole class. The client then took quite long to step up for any task as such.

12. Do you enjoy doing academic work under stress?


Ans) The person feel that a minimum amount of stress is required so as to achieve any task
completely but not actual stress is needed as he doesn’t wants to go crazy.

13. What kind of students do you struggle to work with?


Ans) The students with whom he can match his frequency of getting into a task. He takes all
his task seriously and he wants his task mates that serious to work.

14. If you contribute to create a stressful situation, what could you have done to solve it?
Ans) According to the client, he would never create any stressful situation but ever if he has
done this mistakenly, he would try to work on it and find where he has create a mistake and
try to solve it.

15. How did you reduce or mitigate the stress?


Ans) He goes for parties, watch movies, explore new places to reduce stress or migrate it.
Sometime he also try to talk to his old friends to get relaxed.

16. In what ways did stress help or hurt your academics?


Ans) According to the client little amount of stress is helpful for him as because of that, he is
able to complete his work on time, but the stress is too much then he will get frustrated.

17. Have you ever experienced group stress? Describe it.

Ans) Client told that he has experienced group stress, in which his co-workers was not taking
it seriously and not playing any kind of role in that activity. Because of this he was very
stressed.

18. According to you, is there any difference between academic stress and other stresses in
your life?
Ans) For him the academic stress is somewhat he is experiencing now-a-days, in which he is
experiencing too much of work load and having less sleep and other kind of stress
experienced by him when he met with a road accident, his family got worried.

19. Which stress makes you more depressed?


Ans) According to the client he got depressed whenever he got failed in accomplishing his
task and got very less marks in exam.

20. Is there any possibility that a person can have his life without stress? Why?
Ans) According to the client, a person can’t live a life without stress because it is the stress
which helps anyone to accomplish his/her goals and because of stress, one is working or
doing his/her job.
