CONTEST GUIDELINES

ESSAY CONTEST
1. Each section from the Junior and Senior High schools must have
two (2) contestants to represent their section.
2. The contestants/participants in each section must
bring/provide his/her own materials – 3 sheets of long bond
paper and 2 pens.
3. The contest will start at exactly 1:00 in the afternoon and ends
at 3:00 PM.
4. The output must be in 150-200 words.
5. Essay may be written in English or Filipino. Using of vernacular
is highly discouraged.
6. The venue for the said contest will be in Grade – 8 Fronda
classroom.
7. Outputs will be collected at exactly 3:00 PM.
8. The outputs will be rated by the assigned judges using scoring
rubrics.
9. The school will only select three (3) best outputs.
