Impact of Dynamic Load on PID Control

The three phase dynamic load will significantly impact control systems using programmable voltage sources with PID controllers. This paper examines the effect of dynamic loads, particularly RLC and power electric circuits, on power systems. It demonstrates the simulation results of a three-phase dynamic load and aims to improve closed-loop control by investigating dynamic loads' active characteristics and their impact on power systems using a PID controller with closed-loop feedback. The results show the proposed programmable voltage source with PID controller performs better than traditional open-loop systems in responding to dynamic loads.

ABSTRACT

The three phase dynamic load result will bring important effect to the control
system based on programmable voltage source with PID controller. This paper
reports the influence of dynamic load on power system. With the deviation of
dynamic load particularly RLC and power electric circuits which is regularity
dependent, the Simulink of three phase dynamic load outcome will be
demonstrated. The paper is based on three-phase dynamic load to improve close
loop. The main problem of three phase dynamic load with PVS is that the
system performance is slow response with open loop system. The impartial of
this paper was to investigate the active features of dynamic loads and its impact
on power system based on PID controller with close loop. The results is
compared with traditional PVS and showed that the proposed PVS with PID
controller has the authority over conventional system.
