I. Objectives
At the end of the lesson the learners must:
1. Identify the Proper nouns and Common noun in the sentences;
2. Compare and contrast the use of proper and common nouns;
3. Write Sentences using proper nouns and common nouns.

1. Greetings
“Good morning Class.” Good morning Sir.
2. Prayer
“Let us pray first.” ( One student will lead the prayer)
3. Classroom Management
Checking of attendance. ( Students raise their hand and say present as the

B. Motivation
I will divide the class into two groups, (Students will go to their respective group)
Group one will be all girls then group two
will be all boys.

I will show you 15 photos and you will
identify if it is a common noun or a proper
noun. But before telling your answer, each (Students discussing to their groupmates about their
group will provide a yell so that we can strategies and yell)
distinguish who will be the first group to
answer and if the group cannot identify the
picture within 5 seconds the second group
will have the chance to answer. The group
that will named the most of the picture will
get plus points in our examination next
week.
