PREAMBLE
The course is designed to develop a Procurement and Supply Manager, with knowledge, skills
and attitudes required to satisfy the needs of the Purchasing department in a sustainable manner.
The total duration of the course is 1 440 notional hours. The entry requirement for course shall
be the National Diploma in Purchasing and Supply Management or its equivalent plus five
Levels including Mathematics and English and any 3 “O” Level subjects. The course is offered
on a Full-time, Part-time, Block Release or Open Distance Leaming (ODL) basis. The
assessment is through continuous assessment and written examination, The course will consider
gender mainstreaming, sustainable development, physical challenges, health dispositions, and the
intersections between race, class and culture.

10.0 CONDITIONS OF AWARD
10.1 A candidate should attend at least 85% of learning sessions to qualify for
examinations.
2 The final mark should be obtained through aggregation provided the candidate
scores at least 50% in each of continuous assessment and examinations.
10.3. The pass mark shall be 50% afier aggregation.
10.4 — Candidates should pass all subjects.
RE-WRITE,
ILL A candidate will qualify tor a re-write if he/she passes at least two
total subjects.
11.2. The re-writes will conform with the current syllabi regulations.
EXEMPTIONS,
12.1 There are no exemptions for Higher National Diploma
IRREGULAR PRACTICES
Cheating in continuous assessment and or examinations will result in disqualification
from the whole course. The candidate will be suspended for two years from undertaking any
HEXCO course
