Dear Student,
In order to complete your academic requirements towards the course you would
need to submit a Dissertation project along with taking the examinations for the
other subjects prescribed in this semester.
Please follow the following STEPS to work on and submit your Dissertation:
1. Choose a Topic: The topic for the dissertation project must be relevant to
the Industry you are pursuing your Degree in.
2. Choose a Guide: Choose a Guide from the Industry with Relevant
experience and qualification as prescribed in the guidelines.
3. Submit Synopsis: Once Topic & Guide is finalized, work with your guide
and send us the Synopsis and the CV of the Guide along with an acceptance
letter your guide on his/her company letter head for approval. (These need to
be submitted online through the LMS)
4. Submit Dissertation Online: Once the synopsis is approved. Work with
your Guide on your final Dissertation work. Submit the Dissertation along
with the Presentation. (These need to be submitted online through the LMS)
5. Submit Dissertation Hard Copy: Bind the dissertation as per the
Dissertation Guidelines and send it across to your Program Coordinator.
(The final evaluation would be done on the Hard Copy Only.
Topic & Guide selection Criteria:
Topic should be Management based & relevant to Industry.
Neither Technical nor engineering based topic will be acceptable.
Minimum requirement for Guide:
Minimum Requirement Preferred Requirement
BE/B Tech/M Com/CA with 5 years’ post degree work MBA/CFA with 2 years’ post degree work
experience in related field only experience in related field.
How to Submit Synopsis :-
Synopsis submission will be done through your LMS & you need to follow the
steps as per the following instructions given in your LMS Login:
Login to your LMS account.
Under My Course section click on the “Dissertation” course.
Click on Synopsis on the Left Menu & follow the steps further:
Synopsis submission is divided into the following three steps*:
Upload Guide CV.
Upload Letter Of Acceptance
Upload Synopsis
* These steps must be completed one after another. You cannot jump the steps or
upload everything in one step.
Note: Once you complete the above three steps then only you can proceed
further.
After successfully uploading of all the above documents, you will get the synopsis
approval on LMS portal within a week.
The last date of submission of synopsis on LMS would be –30th Aug, 2019
Synopsis contain 15 Marks which will be given on basis of:
o On Time submission of Synopsis
o Format (as Provided in the Guidelines for Synopsis.)
o Content: Quality of Content
Important to Note: You are advised to check your Synopsis approval/feedback on
your LMS Portal after one week of submission. Once it’s approved, then only you
can start work on your final dissertation report.

How to Submit Dissertation on LMS:-
Login to your LMS account.
Under My Course click on Dissertation:
1. upload your Presentation on LMS
2. upload the final Dissertation report on LMS
*System will allow you to upload your Presentation & then Dissertation only after
the submission of Synopsis on time & approval of the synopsis.
How to submit Dissertation Hard-Copy:-
Courier one hard bound report of dissertation at the given address to your program
coordinator.
Important NOTES:
1. Last date for Final Dissertation Submission – 30th Oct 2019 sent by courier at
our Delhi Office address as mentioned in point no. 6. Also need to upload
the Dissertation on LMS as mentioned above.
2. Dissertation Binding Guidelines:
Binding:
Only 1 Hard Bound copy of final report will be accepted
Spiral or Normal File will NOT be accepted
Dissertation Cover Color must be Black in color.
Content on Cover: Annexure: II to be printed on cover with Golden
Color embedded.
Guide Letter: Acceptance letter on his company letterhead to be included
(Original) in hard copy at the time of binding (No Scanning & No Photocopy
acceptable).
3. Courier to be sent at university address.
Important NOTE:-
Student result will be published only after submission of report softcopy on
LMS as well as after receiving the hardbound report at the above mentioned
address as per the deadline mentioned. Result will be published at the end of
the session only.

Presentation***:
Presentation on dissertation contains 15 Marks.
Presentation Format is provided in ANNEXURE: III of the Dissertation
Guidelines –
Presentation should be not less than 15 slides and not more than 25
slides & that has to be excluding the cover, table of content and final
“Thank You” page.
Content must match the quality standard given.
NOTE: No Dissertation will be accepted under any circumstances after the
due date.
