“Reconciling with Nature”

Third Quarter Performance Task

Good afternoon everyone. My name is Hiromi Saito as the speaker for today’s
symposium. In accordance to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources’
Reconciling with Nature we need new ideas to promote for the sake of our ecosystem.
Since the population grew over the years it affected our ecosystem in terms of the
number of needs of the people as well as the pollution. We should take a huge step to
solve this problem and to do that we need to be united. I can see how much we can
change if we help each other. We can save our environment in just a short period of
time. So I want to ask all the principals from the different schools for help in saving our
environment. The students will be our hands in creating our new environment and in
addition they will see their own creation in the near future which can be serve as their
greatest achievement. These students can use their creativeness and their own
individual talents to help in saving our environment. It will be beneficial to them as well
as the next generation. We should not let this great opportunity to pass since we have
everything right now, starting from the resources to the force we need to reach our goal
which is to save our environment. I know that we all want this, we want a change, we
want a safe and healthy environment but we also need to change ourselves and not
only our environment. We are the ones who are playing a big role in this change and we
are the ones who are only capable in changing our ecosystem. Let us try to take some
time in cleaning our surroundings and also we should learn how to save water, energy
and trees because it all helped us in our daily living. Let us think about how much effort
and time we exert everytime we work but less time and effort in saving our world. Is this
how we will save our environment? Is this what you called care for the ecosystem? So
we should start changing our habits because most of our actions are the deadliest
dagger to our environment. We should all realize how much help the environment gave
us starting from the day we are born until today. So we should not wait until everything
is gone. We have one vision, one identity and one community so let’s all be united in
creating our new environment that will be a great help to all of the people especially for
the next generations. Thankyou.
