Soil Investigation Report

Dear Sir,

We have received the soil investigation report on October 1, 2019 and after preliminary study
of the report, following are our observations:

1. As per site location, it is a corner plot with 3 side roads and level difference of front
and back road is about 20’-0” but no reference road has been mentioned, from which
bore levels have been considered.
2. In the soil report Soil Type is not clearly mentioned. i.e SA, SB, Sc, Sd, SE.
3. In the report K value (Modulus of Subgrade Reaction is missing.
4. Soil Corrosivity with Sulphates and chloride contents(ppm) is required to establish the
type of cement to be used in foundations/below ground structures.
5. In the soil report, it is recommended to place the foundation below 30’-0” from existing
ground level with B.C of 1.24 tsf for raft foundation, which may not fulfill the foundation
design requirements and pile design data is also required to be provided by the
geologist.
