This paper analyzes the seismic response of an offshore structure supported by a group pile foundation in the Arabian Sea, considering both wave/current action and without. It performs two analyses: one without waves/currents and one with their effects. It also checks for liquefaction at the installation site, using data from the Bombay High Field offshore platform in water 75m deep, installed in the Arabian Sea in 1974 by ONGC.

Abstract:-

This paper present the seismic response analysis of offshore structure which is supported by
group pile foundation by considering the wave and current action and considering the installation
of this structure in the Arabian sea. There are two process of analysis of this structure. In first
analysis process we only did seismic response analysis of offshore structure with group pile
foundation without considering the wave and current action. In second analysis process we did
seismic response analysis of offshore structure supported by group pile foundation by
considering the wave and current action. This paper also checking the condition of the
liquefaction at the place where the offshore structure is installing.

Some of the numerical data is taken with reference to the Bombay High Field. Bombay High
Field is platform of offshore structure which is install in Arabian sea by Oil and Natural Gas
Corporation (ONGC) in 1974. Depth of water where the offshore structure is install in the
Arabian sea is 75m.
