SLST 2016 Notice for Assistant Teachers

The West Bengal Central School Service Commission will hold the 1st State Level Selection Test in 2016 to recruit Assistant Teachers for classes 9-10 and 11-12, except in hill regions. Over 10,000 vacancies are available for classes 9-10 and over 6,000 for classes 11-12. Candidates must apply online between September 24 and October 3, 2016 and pay fees by October 7. 1st STATE LEVEL SELECTION TEST FOR RECRUITMENT OF ASSISTANT TEACHERS-2016 IN


SECONDARY/HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOLS (IX-X and XI-XII) EXCEPT HILL REGION

Memo. No.860 / 6602/CSSC/ESTT/2016 Dated: 23.09.2016

The West Bengal Central School Service Commission will hold 1st SLST -2016 for
appointment of Assistant Teachers for Classes IX-X and Classes XI-XII in Govt.
aided/sponsored Secondary/Higher Secondary Schools. The date of the said examination
will be notified in due course.

Tentative number of vacancies are: Classes - IX-X – 10233


Classes - XI-XII – 6296
Fess to the tune of Rs.250 for General & OBC candidates and Rs.80/- for Reserved
category.

Candidates can apply only Online on Commission’s website on & from 24.09.2016
(5pm) to 03.10.2016 (5pm) and fees may be deposited upto 07.10.2016.

Only trained candidates can apply.
