Tricky: SQL,RA, TRC, DRC, ER-diagram to 8 marks in total. Two 2 marks questions from
Easy: Transactions & Concurrency Relation. There is chance you can score more querying(RA, SQL). Rest of the questions are
control protocols, FD's, than the given percentage as questions asked from FD, Concurrency and B,B+ trees.
Database 6-9 65% Normalizations, File systems in GATE are of medium level. NOTE: Queries asked are bit easy to answer.
8 marks in total and one question from
demand paging, 2 from deadlock, 1 from
EASY: memory management, Tricky: Inter‐process communication, process synchronization and 1 from disk
process scheduling, file concurrency and synchronization, deadlocks scheduling. Out of them one difficult question
Operating System 8-9 65% management can be tricky sometimes from deadlock and one from synchronization.
Questions on pointers and arrays are
confusing and there is chance of making silly
mistakes. Recursion programmimg questions 11 marks in total, and 4 marks on pointers ,
C Programming 3-7 60% can be lengthy. function calling ,array are difficult questions
