Mia Patience Connotation photo exercise

Danger. This represents danger as it


shows the danger of a car wheel
becoming clamped after illegal
parking. The colour creates a
‘warning’ sign which creates an
impression towards the viewers.

This represents greed as it shows a


vending machine and the want to
buy something and eat something.
The glass shows the food to create a
desirable effect.

This represents the purest form of


life, suggesting that water is the
most natural form of life and has
been on earth since the beginning.
This represents friends. The way
they have their hands around each
other suggests they are close and
have trust for each other.

The student association represents


the desire to do well. The colourful
letters represents that it is open to
everyone no matter what the
gender, race and preferences.

The bin represents poverty as many


things are thrown away, causing
poverty. The amount of rubbish
suggests thrown away careers,
futures and people due to lack of
caring.
This represents strength as the
weights are used to build muscle
within the human body. It
represents building something, to
grow stronger.

Loneliness, This represents the


feelings associated with loneliness.
The term ‘silence’ suggests being by
yourself as there is no one talking .

Danger/weakness. This suggests the


need for smoking yet the danger of
doing so. The shelter suggests an un
safe environment as it doesn’t look
safe and comfortable.

This represents wealth as the female


is flexing her cars. The cars parked in
a very orderly fashion suggests
order and a controlled environment.
