INTRODUCTION
This Mathematics scrapbook is a compilation of my Math
quizzes, long test, and periodical test for the first quarter
of this school year, 2019-2020.
The result of each of my examination is the reflection on how
well I understood the subject matter. It also shows my weak
and strong points not only on each lesson but also on how to
answer the different type of examination (from easy to more
complex one).
The result of each activities compiled in this scrapbook will serve
as my guide and motivation to do better on the next succeeding
quarters.
REFLECTIONS
The whole coverage of the subject for the 1st quarter is all about
“Exponents and Radicals”. This subject matter is important to
understand because we are using exponents and radicals in real
world. Radical expressions are common Geometry and Trigonometry
especially when calculating triangles like in the fields of carpentry
and masonry, triangles often come into play when designing or
constructing a building that require angle measurements. On the
other hand, the financial industry uses rational exponents to compute
interests, depreciation and inflation in areas like home buying. If we
learn and understand the rules for exponents and radicals, then we
find Mathematics an enjoyable one.
My Activity No.1 is the best activity I’ve done so far for I got a perfect
score for this one. I think it’s because this is the first lesson we tackled
and the questions are very simple and easy to answer.
On the other hand, the result of my long test and periodical test are
my less successful activities because I wasn’t able to review each topics
thoroughly before I took those exams. Also some questions are more
complex on those two activities.
For the first grading, I think, I’ve done “GOOD” but I can do “BETTER” next time.
