A study on importance of exit interview at JR world soft tech solutions pvt LTD
INTRODUCTION:
Exit interview is an interview conducted by an employer of a departing employee they
are generally conducted by a relatively neutral party such as a human resources and other staff
members. It is an interview between a staff member of the organization and an employee who is
leaving to ascertain the reasons for the employee leaving the organization. Final formal between a
staff member of the organization and an employee leaving the firm. It is used as a learning
opportunity for the executive concerned who seeks candid views on workplaces related problems.
Exit interviews are prime opportunities to figure out why someone is leaving your
organization. Effective exit interview can help improve your bottom line by reducing turnover and
the associated costs of hiring and training new employees.
To help you prepare for the exit interview, give a questionnaire to the people who
are resigning to be completed before their final day on the job you can also give a form to the
employee on their way out and ask them to complete and mail it back. Finally, have a face-to-face
or phone meeting the final day.
NEED FOR THE STUDY:
The reason that companies have exit interviews is to gain valuable information which can
prove to be useful in all aspects of the work environment, including aspects such as the work
culture, day to day concerns, processes, issues around management style, workplace ethics and
employee morale.
This is an invaluable way to gain insights that you may not have been able to garner when an
employee is still on the team. An exit interview will give the company the opportunity to get the
opinions of these leaving the company in term of how they perceive the company, and most
importantly, why they would want to leave the company.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM:
It is important to conduct exit interview as the reason for leaving the organization could
also affect the overall performance of the organization. Identifying and correcting of them could
help the organization retain its talents within the organization and could attract the performers of
other competitive firms as well, resulting in overall growth in the performance and efficiency of
the organization.

The study adopted the descriptive type of research approach for analyzing the importance of exit
interview in JR world SOFT TECH SOULTION. And data will be collected by way of Direct
interaction with employees
