KSP Science Experiment Checklist

The document provides a science checklist for tracking science experiments completed in different biomes and situations for the planets and moons in Kerbal Space Program. It includes checklists for Kerbin, Mun, Minmus, Duna, Ike, Eve, Gilly and Eeloo organized by biome and situations. Instructions are provided on how to use the checklist to ensure all valuable science is collected without missing any opportunities.

Kerbal Space Program

Science Checklist by jd284

What is it for?
• Provide a way to track the biomes and situations in which you still need to do
science experiments.
• Ensure you don't accidentally miss out on valuable science and have to repeat an
expedition, without having to cross-check the science archives in the R&D building.
• Provide coordinates for some tricky-to-find combinations of biome and situation
(e.g. getting “splashed down” on Kerbin's mountains or Eve's peaks).

How to use it:

• Print it out, skipping this page perhaps.

• Optional: cut out the table for each planet / moon into a separate piece of paper.

• Check the biomes and situations after you've completed your science experiments
there.
• Note: the “Global” biome is to track experiments in a given situation that are not
biome-specific, i.e. those you don't need to repeat in every biome, like the Mystery
Goo.

Additional Tips
Tracking progress of science experiments if you don't already have all science
experiments available in your game:
• Make a note of which ones you have on a given expedition, and write down the
expedition number in each box of the checklist, rather than just checking it.
• For example, on your first Mun expedition you only have the thermometer, so you
can perform crew reports, EVA reports and temperature measurements. After you
have performed these experiments, enter a “1” in the checklist box.
• Then on your next expedition, make a note which experiments you've added and
enter a “2” in the boxes.
• This way you which biomes/situations you still need for each new expedition, and if
your first expedition skipped some biomes/situations, you know that you need to
also do the “old” experiments there now.
