It is the ability to gather, analyse, utilize customer knowledge effectively at the organizational level and
important goal for orgs. to develop.
Customer Date Integration (CDI)
The technical process of gathering data and making it useful and available

Following are the steps in CDI: -
1. Acquire data

3. Make data available
4. Use the data
Data mart is the specialized subset of data held in a database that was designed for a specific purpose. In
loose credit policies there are more sales and more bad debts and in tight credit policies fewer sales but
fewer bad debts. Information reps provide for manufacturing is Reps know what their customers are
asking for
Information reps provide for finance and accounting is that Reps can provide information so credit policies
are competitive, competition pricing, market conditions, etc.
Information reps provide for marketing are: -
-Salespeople contribute important info. both before and after a campaign
-Help design it, help to see how
it is going,
-Ex. Salespeople report on how Drs are responding to their drug presentations Lift, an increase
sale due to a campaign.
