PRAYERS FOR THE DECEASED: We pray for our loved ones who have died recently.
PRAYERS FOR THE SICK AND SHUT-IN: “Let us raise up in prayer those who seek God’s
healing love, those at the hospital, hospice and at home”. We pray especially for Gary Cybulski,
Kay Kasaboski and Gladys McNulty. May your struggle be consoled by Christ’s love“.
BOOK OF LIFE: NOVEMBER IS THE MONTH OF THE HOLY SOULS wherein we pray
in a particular way for our Deceased. We have placed the
the Book of Remembrance with the names
inscribe
of those Deceased in our parish over the last year in the church. We also invite you to in scribe
those whom you wish to remember and whom you would like us to pray for during the Month of
the Holy Souls.

SHEPHERDS: The care extended to the people who rely on the Shepherd’s of Good Hope
in Ottawa is varied. They provide warm clothing at this time of year. Only seasonal
clothing in suitable condition is accepted. They do not have space to provide for all
and/or any clothing. Consequently, any donations being brought down must be sorted
for acceptance. If you have extensive amounts we suggest a donation to “Value
Village” in Pembroke or Renfrew which raises monies for the Diabetic Association.
They have boxes here in Renfrew.

LIGHT HOUSE INSPIRATIONAL TALKS: Just a reminder of the Lighthouse Inspirational Talks, a
collection of C.D. recordings on a wide range of topics on our faith. Suitable for home and/or the
car, these readings can be both thought provoking and prayerful. For a $5.00 donation to cover
costs they are a way of finding inspiration in our busy and challenging day.
These may present one means of helping us to prepare ourselves during Advent. Why not purchase
one and then share it with friends or family? They would also be timely gifts for Christmas. The
display of C.D.s is currently located by the statue of St. Francis Xavier at the back of the church.
