Resolution for Farm-to-Market Road

The Sangguniang Barangay of Angub, Cuartero, Capiz unanimously approved a resolution endorsing a 10 million peso budget from the Department of Agriculture for road concreting in Sitio Mangga. The proposed road project would provide farmers and students easier access and transport during rainy seasons. It would boost agricultural production and safety by paving the currently muddy, slippery road that is difficult to pass. The resolution was approved to support the important development project that would benefit local residents, farmers, potential businesses, and schoolchildren.

RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE DEVELOPMENT PROJECT OF THE


DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE (DA), A 10 MILLION BUDGET FOR ROAD
CONCRETING FROM NATIONAL ROAD FARM TO MARKET ROAD OF SITIO
MANGGA, BARANGAY ANGUB, CUARTERO, CAPIZ.

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay Members is aware that the Barangay entities is
mandated to provide funds but due to limited resources it was inadvertently provided;

WHEREAS, the target area for road concreting serves now as a major route of farmers.
The ease that the project will give to farmers will encourage them to increase their production.
WHEREAS, during rainy season, it is not passable for the farmers to transport their
agricultural products;
WHEREAS, Concreting of the road will also lift passers-by, farmers and particularly the
pupils going to Cuartero National High School from the danger brought about by the usual
muddy and slippery condition of the road.
WHEREAS, considering the importance of projects, thus, road concreting at Sitio
Mangga, Barangay Angub, Cuartero, Capiz, this municipality making way possible to the public
to provide an easy and better access road to residents and to farmers.
FINALLY, the beneficiaries of the project are the whole residents of Barangay Angub
more particularly the farmers, the would-be entrepreneurs who would invest in the area and the
pupils who attend to school weekdays.
RESOLVED THAT, during the meeting of the Sangguniang Barangay Members and
upon motion of Kagawad Ramil A. Guevara and duly seconded by Kagawad Henry P. Belencion
be it.

Unanimously approved the members of Sangguniang Barangay this 30th day of July
2019.
