Multi-RAB and UTRAN Registration Area

UTRAN Registration Area (URA) consists of a number of cells where UEs in the URA_PCH state can be paged. Multi-RAB (Multiple Radio Access Bearer) calls that have both circuit switched and packet switched services running simultaneously are more likely to drop than single-bearer calls. Setting optimal multi-RAB parameters can help reduce dropped calls. The RAB (Radio Access Bearer) and RRC (Radio Resource Control) protocols are important for establishing and maintaining connections between the UE and UTRAN.
