Being a Good Friend
A social story about friends at school
All Things Special Ed 2016
I love having friends at school.
It can be easy to be a good friend.
“Hi”
Being a good friend means using my
kind words and kind voice.
I share the toys at school and I ask to use a
toy before taking it from a friend.
“Do you
want to play
with me?”
When I want to play with a friend, I use my
words to ask.
I can say, “Do you want to play with me?”
When a friend is playing with a different friend, it is okay.
We all have many friends and can choose to play with
anyone.
If a friend I want to play with is with another friend, I
can ask to play with them or find a different friend
to play with.
Being at school and having friends is cool! I can play with
many friends and use my kind words and voice.
