I am super excited to meet you all and run Curse of Strahd. I hope you guys are
interested in the gothic horror theme of this campaign! I was hoping to have you guys
answer this, so that I can get to know more about your character and take in account
what can I add to the campaign in order to make you feel more immersed into the
story. Feel free too add more information about your character if you wish.

Background (Origin Story) of Your character:
A Dragonborn of scholarly mien, from a mother of arcane prowess, destined to
be the future leader of the clan. But one day, his mother took in a lady of a mysterious
origin. The entire clan was enchanted. He was enchanted.
He spent hours, weeks, months, even years, with this mysterious lady. Learning,
dining, sharing, a mutual understanding building between the Dragonborn clan and this
strange visitor.
And then, it came.
He saw it. This Lady whom he trusted, whom the clan trusted to share their
secrets – he saw it. The knife being thrusted into his mother’s heart. He didn’t felt
anything. He felt hallow. For he knew it, at the back of his mind. He knew it deep in his
heart, never to trust this Lady.
This enchanting Lady was a warlock. She was sent to destroy his clan. It was a
plan, years in the making. And he ran. As far as his legs can carry.
He didn’t dare to look back. He ran for miles. And the years ran with him.
He made from town to town, keeping low, hiding from prying eyes. Hiding from
those who would steal glimpses.
He then stumbles into Vasselheim and got into the Crucible. From there he saw
the fires of The Pit. A place where all races come to fight, engage into hand to hand
combat to see who is the strongest. To prove who is the superior race. He dared enter
this stage. In this place, he let lose all the rage, all of his hate. His scholarly mien
placed aside, replaced with the knowledge of battle.
One day, he was discovered by a certain royalty. This royalty visited the Bloody
Arena and saw this Black Dragonborn. She saw pure aggression. Raw talent.
But he didn’t give in quickly. He knew how broken it was to give trust easily.
