G. Brief Executive Summary
We can’t hide the fact that almost all of students have their own gadgets,
even the grade school they already have their own cellular phones and
iPad/tablets with them. The college students are the one who are struggling
in the internet connection because they really need it. Instead of staying at
school to do paperworks they tend to go outside of the school just to have a
free usage of internet connection outside the campus.

I. PROJECT PROPOSAL PROPER
A. Introduction
The impact of technology in modern life is unmeasurable, we use
technology in different ways. The use of computer is growing day by day.
People use computers in every works. It is now essential just like water. But
for making connection to everyone there is one expert technology called
internet. (Pattnaik, 2015) Internet access is the process of connecting to the
internet using personal computers, laptops or mobile devices by users or
enterprises. Internet access is subject to data signalling rates and users could
be connected at different internet speeds. Internet access enables individuals
or organizations to avail internet services/web-based services.
The internet began to gain popularity with dial-up internet access. In a
relatively short time, internet access technologies changed, providing faster
and more reliable options. Currently, broadband technologies such as cable
internet and ADSL are the most widely used methods for internet access. The
speed, cost, reliability and availability of internet access depends on the
region, internet service provider and type of connection. However, internet
access is not uniformly distributed within or between countries. A digital
divide exists between many countries and regions. Good internet access is
associated with regions with high-income populations, a high development
index and high technological development.
Having access on the internet help everyone to communicate with one
another and to assess information. If we think about students, internet is so
much essential. Study is most essential part of a student’s life. Specially
students who needs most of this for their study purposes, to be easily assess
knowledge from the given information on a website/social networking sites
through the use of internet connection.
B. Rationale
In the modern age, internet has emerged as a useful method for all age
groups. In the past, its use was just limited to business but in the past few

years or so, internet has become a popular method of learning among the
students as well. There are various platforms available on the internet where
students can not only learn but can enjoy their time as well (Technology
Advantage in Academics, 2016).
The students who are the future of the country they must know some
knowledge about how to use the internet in proper way. Internet helps
students to find out the solution of their problems. Math, science, history
etc., they can able to read and get materials also. There are so many sites
which are providing free lectures. It is also possible that they can able to
download lectures from YouTube, and Google the best search engine give
so much knowledge to students. Although many students don’t like doing
research using internet. But internet is an effective method of doing
research for you if your professor assigns you to write your assignment or
asks you to make a model. There are lots of sites available where you can
gain lots of information about different topics. Internet is also coming
handy for the students in connecting with their friends and teachers. There
are various social networking sites available on the internet where you can
stay in touch with your friends and teachers. Moreover, some developers
have also come up with some social networks that are especially dedicated
to the students and teachers. And because of this, the proponents came up
with a project proposal entitled, “A business proposal for the students who
need internet connection on their field of study The Free Usage of
Unlimited Internet Connection in St. Paul University Philippines.”
There are many ways that a lack of internet access can affect a
student’s academic performance. Students without internet can’t connect
with teachers or classmates, do independent research, or get online
homework help. Instead of going to the coffee shop or the places where
internet connections are free, students will stay on the school to have a free
access of internet without spending their money outside and the other
advantage of this is they are safe inside the campus of SPUP.

C. Project Description
The Free Usage of Unlimited Internet Connection in St. Paul
University Philippines aims to have an easily accesible connection through
the use of mobile phones, computer and any technology used by students.
Which they can adopt new insights, knowlege and skills through the use of
many websites. Students can learn from simply holding their gadgets,
reading information and watching videos. It is also easily for them to search
about the topic discuss by their professors and they can do their homeworks
and paperworks already inside the school. So that they have no problem
when they got home, they can have quality time with theirselves as well as
with their family and friends.
D. Objectives
This project proposal aims to fulfill the following objectives:
To have a free access of internet connection to all students of
St. Paul University Philippines
To lessen student’s expenses of providing their own mobile
data or intenet connection
To prevent students going outside the campus staying at the
places where internet is present
For students to gain information and knowledge through the
use of internet
For the students to search about what are their topics, that
prepares them for the proper discussion of their lesson
For the teachers to have easily assess their students as well to
communicate with them through the use of social networking
sites.
For the teachers also, they can give online examination to
their students

E. Significance
The Free Usage of Unlimited Internet Connection in St. Paul
University Philippines play important role as a means of easier way to
assess information and to communicate. Internet gives so many benefits to
students. They can use it for their career growth and get knowledge. It is
responsible for a student to make the good use of internet so that they can
able to make good growth.
Having access to this information empowers students to take charge of
their education, and the research backs that up. Other studies showed that
discipline issues decreased when students were able to use technology to
help with their studies. to help schools make the most of the technology
they’re able to obtain.
This ensures that all of their tech budgets are used to help students
access the internet and improve their studies with online resources. Internet
is also being used by the institutions to teach the students in innovative
ways by looking at the increasing interest rate of the students.
The implementation of this project can benefit the students and employees
by:

F. Project Components and Strategies of Implementation
The submission of project proposal will be done during the month of
June and this will be include the series of the revision and finalization of the
said project. If the project will be fortunate to be approved, then the search
for the location of the construction of the project will push through by the
month of August. While doing a through study and inspection of the
location, then the purchase for the need materials will come in. After the
purchase these things, then the installation and the connection of internet
will start. After the completion, the proponents will then start adverstise the
project to the students, professors and employees. The administrators will
then find the potential personnel to facilitate the operations of the project.
They will be oriented about the policies, operations and other things
concerning the said project.
