Week 2 Lesson 4 Reflection
WEEK 2 LESSON 4 REFLECTION Commented [CV1]: Use the past tense throughout.
DATE: 21 June 2019
On 21st June 2019, the process of teaching and learning (T&L) can be carried out well.
All plans planned in the daily lesson plan (RPH) can be implemented properly.
The first strength identified in my lesson today is that when I ask them to draw their
imaginary place, they are so excited. This is because they can enhance their creativity skill. I
also said to them that I am going to give reward to the best group, this make them feel
motivated and want to be the best group. The second advantage is my clarity in giving
instruction and instruction. Clear and simple instructions make it easy for students to
understand my task and how they should be implemented.
The first weaknesses that can be observed in today’s lesson is the classroom
management. When I ask them to do the group work, not all of them doing it. Some of them
running and making noise in the classroom while their friends doing the work. I should classify
them into new groups by mixing the remedial and enrichment students together. The next
weaknesses is time management. Time management is important to ensure that the T&L
process works well and smoothly. I found out that the time planned in my RPH and the lesson
implemented is not tally. This is because there are interruptions and other things that lead to
more time taken to do the activities. Commented [CV2]: Address from your point of view.
The opportunity for today’s lesson is that my students really love when I asked them
to do the language arts activity and when I instil the fun learning in my lesson. So, after this I
will make sure that my lesson will be fun learning, students centred and do more activities that
need them to move around and participate actively during the lesson.
The threat that I faced today is not all of them doing the work when I ask them to do
the group work. So, I need to monitor them and tell them that I am going to cut off the token
and lessen their possibility to win the rewards if one of their group members make noise.
