Comment:

-Brick wall is an option for proposed mix development. It can help to insulate the building’s
temperature as they store heat and cool air. Brickwork cost less in long run and have lower energy
consumption compare to others. But, brick need plastering done to finish a project which can raise
construction costs and will have less aesthetic appeal with brick as there is limited sizes and colors.
(Samuel, 2017)

- Asbestos cement partition is also an option for proposed mix development. It has high fire
resistant and will not spread fire easily. It is inexpensive and cost effective material compare to
others. It also resistant to damage from termite and high sound insulation by adding wooden wool
as it will absorbs sound. (Tee, 2016)

The hollow block and clay block is an option for proposed mix development. Block has low labor
costs and material used to construct block wall are cheaper than brick but expensive than asbestos
cement partition. It is not insulated easily therefore the heat can’t be transfer out from the building.

I recommend to use asbestos cement partition than brick wall and block wall because the long run
of building and the maintenance is low compare to others.
